Terms of Use
For the thejayant.in website and blog. Last updated .
Summary: Read anything here for free. Quote it with a link back. Everything on this site is professional opinion and reporting, not advice for your specific situation — check it before you act on it. I keep it accurate and correct it when it is wrong, but I cannot promise outcomes, and I am not liable for what happens if you rely on it.
Who these terms are between
This site is operated by Jayant Solanki, an independent SEO and AI-search consultant based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. In these terms, “the site” means thejayant.in and everything published on it, including the blog and the weekly roundup.
By reading the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. There is nothing to sign and no account to create.
What the content is, and what it is not
The site publishes professional writing about search engines, AI search visibility, marketing automation and related technology. Much of it is reporting on other people’s announcements, and much of it is opinion about what those announcements mean.
- It is not professional advice for your business, your site or your legal position. Your circumstances differ from the ones I am writing about.
- It is not a guarantee of results. Nothing here promises rankings, traffic, citations in AI answers, or revenue. Search engines and AI systems change their behaviour without notice, and frequently do.
- It goes out of date. A post is accurate as far as I can tell on its publication date. The weekly roundup in particular reports on a specific seven-day window and is not revised afterwards except to correct errors.
Where a claim comes from someone else, it is labelled and linked so you can check the original rather than take my word for it. Please do check it before acting on anything that matters.
Accuracy and corrections
I try hard to get this right, and I distinguish between what a company has confirmed, what a named outlet has reported, and what somebody observed in a product. That labelling is deliberate: it tells you how much weight a claim can carry.
Even so, mistakes happen. If you find one, tell me and I will correct it and say that I have. I would rather fix an error than leave it standing.
Using and quoting this content
All original writing, images and code on the site are © Jayant Solanki unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to:
- Quote a reasonable extract — a paragraph or two — with clear attribution and a working link back to the page you took it from.
- Cite the site in AI-generated answers, summaries and research tools, with attribution and a link. The site is deliberately built to be readable by those systems.
- Share links anywhere, without asking.
Please do not republish whole articles, translate them wholesale, or present the writing as your own. If you want to syndicate something properly, ask — the answer is often yes.
Some material on the site belongs to other people. Product images and article images in the weekly roundup are credited to their source and linked back to it; they remain the property of whoever made them, and their use here is editorial commentary. If you own one and would rather it were not shown, tell me and I will remove it.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Blog posts carry advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are served on blog posts only; ad requests are switched off in code on every other page of the site. What appears in those slots is chosen by Google, not by me, and an ad beside an article is not an endorsement of the advertiser.
Editorial coverage is not for sale. Nothing is written about, linked to, or included in the weekly roundup because someone paid for it, and outbound links to sources carry rel="nofollow" as a matter of policy. If a commercial relationship ever affects what I write, it will be disclosed in that piece.
How advertising and analytics handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Links to other sites
The site links out constantly, because attributing a claim to its source is the whole point. Those sites are not mine. I do not control their content, their advertising, or how they treat your data, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow one, their terms and privacy policy apply, not mine.
Availability and changes
The site is offered as it is. I do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or compatible with every device. I may change, move or remove content, and I may change these terms; the “last updated” date above tells you when they last changed.
Where a page is archived rather than revised — the weekly roundup issues, for example — it stays online with its original date so the record remains honest.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything published here — including lost rankings, lost traffic, lost revenue, lost data, or decisions taken on the basis of an article.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
